Basic Breadboard
sku: PRT-00112
Description: Your first exposure to electrical engineering - the bread board. Who knew it would bring so much frustration?
This is your standard solderless breadboard - three binding posts, two power buses, black aluminum plate backing. It works with a wide variety of wire gauges (29-20 AWG). As is standard for most of these breadboards, the power buses are disconnected in the middle; common practice is to use a few small jumper wires to tie them together.

Dimensions:
- Board: 165x56x8.5 mm
- Aluminum Plate: 183x95x1.5 mm

Go through with a continuity tester if there are any issues or rip off the foam on the back to check for breaks.
Solid breadboard otherwise, but not wide enough for the bluetooth DIP module.
Without the feet, the breadboard does not lay flat.
My next order with be with someone else.
So, if any of you are buying this, make sure to __test all of your power buses for continuity__.
Final warning: 20-gauge wire is a little too snug for this board - you'll find yourself manhandling it a little more than you'd like to get the wires in. Stick to 22-gauge or thinner.
I spent 3 hours trying to fix my project before realizing it was the breadboard that was broken.
Also, the sticky feet were not sticky at all. The adhesive had long peeled off before I got it. I used some sticky-tak to put them on.
Minus: The adhesive on the feet... time to break out the Gorilla Glue.
I would like to lock several together on my workbench.
I have the radioshack version, but it is now discontinued.
