Description: Silicon Laboratories USB to UART IC. The latest units from Signal: the CP2102 is a drop-in pin replacement of the CP2101. Vastly superior to the FTDI chip in many ways:

  • Implements full v2.0 USB protocol
  • Needs no external crystal
  • Requires only a pull-up resistor and two decoupling caps
  • Internal EEPROM for device ID and Product Description strings

Also available is the CP2102 Breakout Board!
