These are really poor quality LEDs. I have had about 1/4 of the leads break off before I could even get them situated into a project.
If I had a 100-330uF capacitor charge through a 1k resistor, would this get biased in the correct direction at the ~3v mark and allow the cap to discharge? Like an LED flasher?
