    I've ordered the board; it's too good a deal to pass up. It hasn't arrived. The Codesourcery docs for the EABI free package say I'll need a linker script, which they don't include for this board. Is one available, or can I create one, or is there another technique that doesn't require one?

    Can this be programmed in C or does it need to be assembly? Any "Getting Started" guide. I've done some Arduino and PIC stuff and want to move up in power. Is this a good place to start?

      This has ample room for a C program. You'll want to use the free CodeSourcery GCC toolchain.
      The ARM7TDMI on this board has been one of the most popular ARM chips for a long time now, but it's being phased out in favor of the Cortex-M3 line. There will be lots of support available, it'll just be a few years old.
      This is a fantastic place to start, especially at this price!
