With no air gap, no ferrite and no feedback ? And the ratio is 1:1. I sure don’t understand.
What’s the role of this transformer in the geiger kit ?

I have some questions about the schematic: what is the role of the audio transformer and where the high voltage came from ? Thanks.

Does anyone knows why this shield heats (wiznet chip cannot be touched) when it is mounted on any arduino ? The arduino is powered by usb cable direct from pc. The shield works good but the heating is worrying me.
