Why not just give credits based upon the total amounts spent with Sparkfun? If someone made their first purchase 5 years ago for $10 and never make another purchase since, vs. someone who made their first purchase yesterday worth $100, makes no sense to reward the first purchaser with $50. Just my 2 cents worth.
