    Hello,

I tried code suggested codes and outputs which I am getting are very different then in the article.

For example, when I use "byte" type, the values are presented correctly, not by squares. And in any combination of data type and mathematical operations I'm getting same eclipsed time (4 us). Did Arduino changed something since this article is written or I'm doing something wrong?

Hi there, it sounds like you are looking for technical assistance. Please use the link in the banner above, to get started with posting a topic in our forums. Our technical support team will do their best to assist you.

That being said, this tutorial might be outdated... there have been several major changes to the Arduino IDE since this was posted 6 years ago. I am pretty sure that bytes get automatically converted by the print function nowadays unless you specify it to a specific data type.
