Can a 3.3v micro controller like the ESP 32 be used to control these LuMini Ring, without a logic level translator? You mention they can be used but never show the LuMini Ring <-> ESP 32 connection
Yes, I use this trick all the time. The datasheet says that data simply needs to be .7 * VDD but I've found in practice that data can in fact be around 3.0V (.6 * VDD) for these things to work. Super neat feature especially in a pinch when you might not have a 5V micro.
