Hello, everyone! Today is a fun day for us because we're announcing our SparkFun Inventor's Kit for Intel® Edison! This kit is the culmination of hard work spent developing and collaborating with Intel® on the Edison product line. So sit back and enjoy this fun little video!

I have the strong urge to listen to jazz and other mid-century Americana music. Moving on!

The SparkFun Inventor’s Kit for Intel® Edison, otherwise known as the Edison SIK, introduces the Edison as a powerful Internet of Things (IoT) platform. The Edison SIK includes everything you need to complete 12 experiments that will teach you how to program the Intel® Edison using JavaScript and control various electronics. Whether you are new to electronics and JavaScript, or are looking to take your skills to the next level, this kit is a great starting point.

We expect to have these built and shipping by February. However, you don’t need the kit to get started! If you already have the Edison, you can try out some of the experiments. The entire set of tutorials is available for free online!

Speaking of the Edison, today's the last day to enjoy the best discounts of the year on SparkFun's entire lineup of Edison Blocks. No matter what functionality you need to add to your Edison, we've got the Block for you at the best discount – but only until the end of the day!

The LilyPad Arduino 328 Main Board is an Arduino-programmed microcontroller designed to be easily integrated into e-textiles and wearable projects. It offers the same functionality you find in other Arduino boards, in a lightweight, round package designed to minimize snagging and profile, with wide tabs that can be sewn down and connected with conductive thread.

The Learn to Solder version of the Simon Says Kit includes everything that the original kit does, as well as the basic soldering tools you need to put it together! This is a great kit for anyone just learning to solder or teaching someone to solder. This is a great beginner's kit and also a pretty fun toy. All components are through-hole, making this kit a great place to start when you're learning to solder. When building this kit, you'll have a chance to solder a 28-pin microprocessor, LEDs, battery clips and more.

Well that's it for this week. In fact that's it for the next two weeks! With the holidays upon us there will not be any Friday Product videos until the new year. Have fun and we will see you in 2016!

Will Sparkfun be selling those data-terminal-thing-a-ma-jigs? Is that e-paper he's running through it?

That was a very small, futuristic-looking radar range!
