Air Quality is the Best Policy

The new ENS160 Air Quality Sensor is now available with two new SparkX boards!

Favorited Favorite 0

Hello and welcome back to another Friday Product Post here at SparkFun Electronics! This week, we have a handful of new products to show off and it all starts with the new ENS160 Indoor Air Quality Sensor! This Qwiic-enabled breakout consists of four independent heaters and gas sensor elements based on metal oxide (MOX) technology and a controller. Following that, we have two new products from SparkX, a GNSS Antenna Splitter and a Qwiic Micro Dynamic NFC/RFID Tag. Let's jump in and take a closer look at this week's new products!

That's some nice air quality!

SparkFun Indoor Air Quality Sensor - ENS160 (Qwiic)

SparkFun Indoor Air Quality Sensor - ENS160 (Qwiic)

SEN-20844
$19.95

The SparkFun ENS160 Indoor Air Quality Sensor is a digital multi-gas sensor solution with four sensor elements that can be used in a wide range of applications including building automation, smart home, and HVAC. The independent hotplate control allows the detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) including ethanol, toluene, hydrogen, and oxidizing gases with superior sensitivity. The ENS160 supports intelligent algorithms to process raw sensor measurements on-chip. These algorithms calculate CO2-equivalents, TVOC, air quality indices (AQIs), and perform humidity and temperature compensation, as well as baseline management, all on-chip. Raw sensor measurements can be read for further customization.

GNSS Antenna Splitter (Power Divider) with DC Pass

GNSS Antenna Splitter (Power Divider) with DC Pass

SPX-21223
$19.95

Our GNSS Splitter (Power Divider) lets you connect a single GNSS antenna to two boards or modules. It splits (divides) the antenna signal from Port S equally between Port 1 and Port 2. It is the perfect accessory for our NEO-D9S correction data receiver, allowing you to feed both the NEO-D9S and a separate GNSS module from a single antenna.

Qwiic Micro Dynamic NFC/RFID Tag

Qwiic Micro Dynamic NFC/RFID Tag

SPX-20691
$9.95

The STMicroelectronics ST25DV dynamic Near Frequency Communication / Radio Frequency Identification tag ICs are awesome! The Qwiic Micro Dynamic NFC/RFID Tag offers 64-kBit (8-kBytes) of EEPROM memory which can be accessed over both I2C and RF (NFC)! It's a state-of-the-art tag which conforms to ISO/IEC 15693 or NFC Forum Type 5 recommendations. You can read and write the tag's memory using NFC even while the tag is powered down or disconnected!

SparkFun Constellation MicroMod Kit

KIT-21224

The SparkFun Constellation MicroMod Kit is our newest limited edition offering that joins the ranks of the SkeleBoard and the SnowBoard. Instead of releasing a single board this year, we have opted to release a full kit, instead! This kit combines both MicroMod and Qwiic in a single box with a limited edition MicroMod ATP Carrier Board and MultiStar (this year's April Fool's Day joke). No, we aren't joking this time! Due to popular demand, we have reworked the MultiStar into a working (and much safer) celestial version of the MultiPort. Also included in this kit is a MicroMod Screw Driver and two Qwiic Cables to get you hooked up! The ATP Carrier Board and MultiStar included in this kit feature a matte black PCB with a star scape design in white silk.
