Bearing Mount - Pillow Block (1/4" Bore)

Pillow block bearing mounts attach to the outside of a channel and can be used as simple hinges. These bearing mounts have a width of 1.32”, a thickness of 0.25”, a 0.25” bore bearing.

    I have a DC motor with a coupler to extend the shaft (not far, couple inches). I'd like to stabilize the shaft and place it in a bearing. How do you ensure the shaft is attached to the bearing so it's not just spinning inside the bearing bore?

    Sorry if my terminology is off, not totally sure how to even ask my question.

    Is there any product link for the shaft or screw that connect the pillow block? Whats the name of that shaft or screw?

    I got a few set of these to mount a pinion gear to my project. Two of these where ok but on two of them the bearings were too tight and did not spin freely. I think these parts may work well to hing two channels together or something, but I ended up using an other piece of channel and two flanged bearing to hold the a spinning shaft.

As expected

Aluminum bearing - dimensions as expected - this is an entry level, low load pillow block. Seems fine.
