Cable Carrier - 10x15mm (0.5m Length)
No, this isn't a tank tread, this is a 0.5m long Cable Carrier with 10x15mm bits composing its main body and two screw fasteners at each end for efficient mounting. Sometimes called a "drag chain," each carrier can be used in projects with a large number of moving parts to protect internally installed cables, pipes, or tubes so they can be bent and moved while remaining protected. Cable carriers can most commonly been found in 3D printers and CNC machines but they can be used in any situation where you need cables or tubes to bend without risk of them being damaged or wearing out prematurely.
This specific cable carrier offers inner dimensions of 10mm (height) by 15mm (wide), an outer width of 22mm, and a bend radius of 20mm. Additionally, these carriers are thin enough to fit into an Actobotics channel, making custom slide machines or other projects even easier to manage. Much like a chain, individual links can be added or removed to make custom lengths.

great carriers
Thick plastic. No binding. Great for a small linear motion platform.
Great for my 3D printer
I have a semi-homebrew 3D printer based on the PRUSA i3 (300mmx300mmx300mm). I got tired of moving the bed heater cables and trying to route them so they would not catch on anything. When I saw this I immediately ordered two. The 1st one I mounted on the heat bed to carry the 12GA silicone heat bed power cables (which I also got from Sparkfun). No more tangles and it looks 1000% better. I used the second one to carry the cables from the dual direct drive extruders. It has Z-Axis servo probe (4 wires), 2 steppers (8 Wires), 2 hotends (4 wires each) and 3 fans (4 wires total), GP 12V wire, and a fat ground wire. This is a total of 26 wires . This controlled a rat nest of wires. I will be ordering some more for stock on other projects. Be aware that this only bends one way. However that is not a problem. I did reverse the last link used for mounting to make it easier to mount on my bed. I also shortened one to just be what I needed. I added links to the other one. And Just on Thursday I saw a similar item on a router table at my local plastic supplier (just much bigger) so this is a Industry Standar5d Solution. Kudos to Sparkfun for carrying such a useful and hard to find item.

Why you type millimeter in lowercase mm, but meter in uppercase M? Doesn't make sense. Is this the right way in America?
Probably just got too happy with the shift key. We use lower case m for meters.
