SparkFun Solder Practice Kit

Whether you are just starting out or just want to sharpen your existing skills, the SparkFun Solder Practice Kit is a no-risk training kit. There's no need to worry about messing up your project, this kit is full of scrap PCBs and component pieces for you to practice with. This kit won't produce any working boards but you will be able to solder the through-hole components into arbitrary points on the PCB to master your skills of soldering without breaking the bank or your project.

We'll admit, this is a pretty unique kit for us to make, but we've received word from a lot of you to make something just like this! Please be aware that since this kit consists of scrap PCBs and components, contents will vary in size, shape, and quantity from the photos shown.

Note: This kit does NOT come with solder or a soldering iron. Additionally, since this a "Ding and Dent" item, we cannot accept requests, returns, exchanges, provide documentation, or provide support on any aspect of these boards.

Skill Level: Noob - Some basic soldering is required, but it is limited to a just a few pins, basic through-hole soldering, and couple (if any) polarized components. A basic soldering iron is all you should need.
