    Another idea, rather than pull out pins to make it easier to solder, instead the best method I found was to use heatshrink tubing, like this: http://pulse.yahoo.com/_UP7A4YLMEKPMJ2RJQN7TIK2YOA/blog/articles/45555?listPage=index
    Once a pin is soldered, heatshrink it, and then it is
    safe to solder the adjacent pin with no risk of shorts.

    I'd like to actually mount those DEV-00633 connectors on a PCB. Do you guys have the footprint or actual mechanical dimensions of the connector pins?

    Is this iPad 3 / iPad 4 compatible? I also have an iPhone 3GS (please dont laugh). I want to make a solar project and need a breakout connector like this.

    Anyone have suggestions on how to secure this connector or one of the other styles to a supporting board? I don't have any means to drill the micro-sized holes that would be needed to accept the 30 pins.

    Had a hard time soldering the connections on this style - going to try style 2 and see if it's any easier.

    Does anyone know if the pins on this connector are removeable, I only want to use several of them and having them all there will make them harder to solder.
