Can I hook ten of these to a single coin battery?

I have never used before. Regarding the 5 pc kit, can I spread the LED lights around my fabric picture (wall hanging), as long as the conductive thread is attached to each LED? For instance, can I place LED lights in each corner of a sqare and center, or do they need to be placed together in order to work? Thank you.

This is awesome! I was just looking for colored LilyPad LEDs yesterday and we very bummed that there didn't seem to be any! I was going to buy white ones and swap out the LED!
Will you have single ones too? With the prices of the white ones, its cheaper to buy 10 of the singles than a two kits of 5, because of the quantity discount. :)

    • We won't be carrying singles at all anymore actually.

Ooh, well the price seems to have gone down. When I posted that this morning it was $10 for the kit! This price is much better. I was worried that the kit price was actually a worse deal than singles, but that's clearly not the case anymore! :)

They are/do what you think

I used 4 of these along with 4 white that came with the LilyTwinkle Protosnap kit, and they performed exactly as expected. If you want easily sewable/washable (blue) LEDs, get these. Do it now.

Great LED's

These LEDs are great for projects that need lights in tight places. I solder them to my boards like any through-hole or surface mount component. The integrated resistor makes this a simple installation. The color and brightness are consistent and I've used hundreds of them and never had a bad LED.

Back for more

nice bright blue, easy to work with.

We'll be using those for a sewable electronics session for K-5, replacing the "plain leds with twisted leads". Expecting these to be easier for the younger children, and the cost isn't that much higher. Additional benefit: no more evenings spend bending led leads :)

After 2 sessions, our expectations were met. Less faulty circuits, less troubleshooting/reworking/frustration.

Best Halloween costume EVER

My daughter wanted to be CInderella- the new one. We sewed her dress and added these blue LEDs to the butterflies and her costume looks INCREDIBLE. Easy to do (our first project like this) and it turned out great. Can't wait to do more!
