I would caution that the output from these is extremely low. I purchased them to use with a raspberry pi but have also tested in my regular desktop machine. While they do work and are recognized the volume level needed to make them pick up anything at all makes them useless. If I put my face to them and yell I get a sound file with almost the same volume as from the built in computer microphone from 3 feet away speaking softly. Unless there is the same thing wrong with both of them that I purchased but given Member #796889’s comment below I think that is just how these are. If anyone has the secret firmware setting or something to make these function like any other usb microphone please let me know. I can’t imagine that in their current state they would be good for anything.

Just a word of caution: these don't seem to be internally amped, so the decent pick-up range is not really more than three feet (~ 1 meter). That said, i got one when these first hit the market, and it's great. I had intended it for my RaspPi for voice control, but use it as my main computer mic now.
