I seem to be having a bit of a problem with this tip. The very tip (1/4 inch or so) doesn't heat up. Is this common?

It does heat up, its just so small its difficult for solder to stick to. Try feeding solder onto the tip by poking the very end of the solder with the tip, the solder will melt and roll up the tip. It still works when you hold it to a pad; soldered some 0402 components with it today.

I was wondering if it would be possible to bring in the chisel or beveled style tips for this iron. I can find them at other sites, such as circuitexperts, however I would much prefer if you could purchase these from you.
Other than missing a few different styles of tips, these are excellent.
