Roomba Communication Cable - miniDIN 8

This cable is perfect for connecting your RooStick or Roo232 to your Roomba SCI port. Wired straight through. Male miniDIN 8 connectors on each end are compatible with the 7-pin connector on the Roomba.

    For those who are cutting up the cable for your project here are the pin color codes:

    • Pin 1 Red (vpwer)
    • Pin 2 Peach (vpwer)
    • Pin 3 Orange (RX)
    • Pin 4 Green (TX)
    • Pin 5 Blue (BRC)
    • Pin 6 Purple (GND)
    • Pin 7 Black (GND)

    For information on programming the roomba using the SCI port, there is a good tutorial here: http://www.robotappstore.com/Knowledge-Base/3-Serial-Port-Baud-Rate-Configuration/17.html It goes over basic communication to the roomba via the SCI port - which this cable will allow you to do. Hope this helps!
