The RFL USB to AI Adapter allows a normal PIC programmer (Microchip ICD and Olimex programming connectors) to reprogram the RFL robot through the 10-pin IDC cable. The USB connection grants the user access to the TX and RX pins on the PIC within the remote or the robot. This allows for quick bootloading, debugging, or serial control from a computer! Utilizing the FT232RL to grant serial access over USB, the 10-pin IDC connector prevents incorrect alignment when attaching it to another device. We recommend ordering the mating 10-conductor IDC cable available below.
