Potentiometer Knob

This is a great looking rubberized knob for the potentiometer. Slides onto the potentiometer and holds tightly with a strong friction fit.

    IMPORTANT!
This product is not exactly as described. It isn't just a "friction fit." The opening is a semicircle (not sure what the word for that is... it looks like a D). This is particularly frustrating, because you can't see the underside in ANY of the photos and there are no inner dimensions given. To those wondering, it fits snugly on a 1/4" potentiometer shaft with 3/32" cut out.

I'd like to get my hands on these. Any ideas where else I can source them? Manufacturer part number perhaps?

I really wish this would come back in stock :(... I love using it with rotary encoders :)

I think this nob fits rotary encoder COM-09117? the picture on the rotary product page shows the rotary encoder with this nob on it. Is this correct ?

Does not fit. Looks pretty but loose as heck. Go with the black or red knobs.

This knob does NOT fit on rotary potentiometers COM-09939, COM-09940 or COM-09941.

What is the diameter of this knob at the flare? I am looking for something to use on the function generator kit's potentiometers shafts.

This was recommended for the Arduino MIDI shield, but unfortunately, it doesn't fit the potentiometers on this shield. The problem is that the bottom of the knobs flare out, preventing the use of two of these knobs side-by-side on the two potentiometers of the shield, which are fairly close together.

  • what size shaft is the shaft designed for?
it's friction only, no set screw?
    thanks
