oooh -- this would make a nice serial programming connector for the Funnel IO Board!
How did this wind up in the retired sensors category?
Your right should be in retired breakout boards from the look of it.
Will this work standalone in a breadboard? I'm considering it for a serial to USB conversion on an old touchscreen.
You might be able to get it to work, but I would suggest doing something like an FTDI basic. This is specialized and meant for a specific application.
