Basic Lilypad Tutorial

Overview

This video is a great starting point for beginners and those who are curious about the LilyPad line of products, but not sure how they work. I'll walk you step-by-step through a very simple project using inexpensive components. No prior sewing or electronics experience needed!

Requirements

Here is everything you'll need to re-create this circuit at home:

• Scissors
• Sewing needle
• Something to sew the circuit onto (I used a small piece of cross-stitch)
• A LilyPad LED. I used one red LED- you can add more, and use different colors to customize your project. These are sold in 5-packs.
• A LilyPad Battery Holder
• A 20 mm Coin Cell Battery
• A LilyPad Slide Switch
• Conductive Thread
