In this 2 hour workshop, Jordan Skole, campus director for The Iron Yard will teach you how to wire up a Particle Photon and a Soil Moisture sensor. Once the sensor is gathering readings, you will connect to an external api and send a SMS message if your plant's soil falls above or below a certain threshold.
