Hello all and welcome back to another Friday Product Post here at SparkFun ELectronics! This week, we have two new products to showcase, as well as a new sale that you are going to want to stick around for at the end. We start the week with WIZnet's new W55RP20-EVB-PICO, an RP2040 Pico-type development board that should pique your interest, as well as the Soft Power Switch Mk2 from SparkX! We round out the day with a new sale that takes close to $50 off the Magnetic Imaging Tile. Let's jump in and take a closer look, shall we?

$10.95

The W55RP20-EVB-Pico is an evaluation board for W55RP20, a chip that combines W5500, a wired TCP/IP controller, and RP2040 – and basically works the same as Raspberry Pi Pico board but with additional Ethernet via W5500.

SPX-25365
$5.95

New from SparkX! The Soft Power Switch Mk2 is a passive, hard on/off switch with software feedback and control. In other words, it's like the on/off switch on a laptop. A simple press will turn the system on. Another press can (with MCU intervention) turn off the system. And if things go really wrong, pressing and holding the button for ~10 seconds will force a power-down. If you're building something with an enclosed battery and need a good power button, this is the board you need.

Last up this week, we have an oldie, but a goodie, receiving a pretty substantial sale! The Magnetic Imaging Tile uses an array of 64 hall effect sensors to convert magnetic fields to the visual spectrum. And now it's reduced in price from $149.95 to $99.00! You can now see magnetic fields in real time! As is to be expected, there are caveats: the magnetic sensors used on the tile are some of the most sensitive on the market but you need to be within 1 to 2 centimeters of the tile to get a good image.

That's it for this week. As always, we can't wait to see what you make! Shoot us a tweet @sparkfun, or let us know on Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn. Please be safe out there, be kind to one another! We'll be back with more new products next week so make sure to check back then. Happy hacking!

Never miss a new product!
