The new SparkFun Qwiic pHAT Extension for Raspberry Pi 400 is shipping! Add Qwiic boards and stack HATs with ease. Make sure to stick around for the new IQAudio Boards from Raspberry Pi, as well!
Hello, and welcome back to another Friday Product Post. Since this will be the last product post of 2020, we wanted to end the year on a high note: the new SparkFun Qwiic pHAT Extension for Raspberry Pi 400! This specially designed board attaches to the GPIO of a Raspberry Pi 400 and allows easy Qwiic board integration with the computer. It also turns the GPIO header from a horizontal position to a vertical one, allowing the use of your favorite HAT or pHAT! Following that, we are going to take a look at the new IQAudio boards from Raspberry Pi that were announced this Monday, a simple SMA cable, and a Hardware Kit for the Leopard Imaging Camera for NVIDIA Jetson Nano.
We’re closing out the year with an awesome SparkX Sale! The sale runs through the end of the month and features 25% off select SparkX products. Head on over to the "Today's Deals" page (located at the top right of any SparkFun page under the shopping cart) to check out all the items available and stock up for your 2021 projects!
We are rapidly approaching the final days to make sure you get your order in time for Christmas, make sure to check out our Holiday Shipping 2020 page. (Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, domestic and international shipping timelines may be affected by local changes in delivery schedules, and delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.)
Now, let's take a closer look at all of our new products!
The SparkFun Qwiic pHAT Extension for the Raspberry Pi 400 provides you with a quick and easy solution to access all of the 400's GPIO, stack your favorite HAT right-side up, or connect a Qwiic-enabled device to the I2C bus (GND, 3.3 V, SDA and SCL). Since the Qwiic system allows for daisy-chaining boards with different addresses, you can also stack as many sensors as you’d like to the mounting holes on the pHAT to create a tower of sensing power!
The IQaudIO Pi-DigiAMP+ is the First HAT compliant, Full-HD (192/24), HiFi-quality DAC and up to 2x35 w Class D amplifier for the Raspberry Pi. The DigiAMP+ turns your Raspberry Pi into a standalone Hi-Fi system. Use as the basis of a retro radio restoration, build a boom box or an in-car audio player, or use as the basis of a kiosk/display solution.
The IQaudIO Pi-DAC+ HAT Audio card for the Raspberry Pi delivers outstanding sonic performance and full-HD (24/192) audio capability. Built-in hardware volume control through the standard Linux audio APIs (ALSA), using the Raspberry Pi’s I2S digital audio signals, delivers much lower CPU usage and vastly improved audio quality vs. USB audio cards.
The IQAudio DAC Pro, a new breed of audiophile DAC for the Raspberry Pi! With Phono (RCA), Headphone (3.5 mm) and support for Balanced/Differential output (for XLR use in Studio, or home studio), it allows connection to studio equipment or powered speakers over long cable runs. Now you can run your disco, radio station or home studio from a Raspberry Pi!
This 10 m (33 ft) SMA extension does a great job of connecting your receiver or radio to a distant antenna with as little RF loss as possible.
