Coin Cell Battery Holder Breakout - 24.5mm (PTH)

This is a simple breakout board for our through-hole 24.5 mm coin cell holder. All you need to do is solder the tabs of the holder down and you're good to go! There are also two mounting holes for attaching it to your project.

Note: We've found that applying a bit of solder to the large solder pad in the middle creates a better connection with the negative side of the battery.

Note: You will get just the bare PCB. Check below for the coin cell holder that you will need to solder to the board.

    I just got this by mail today and I got the right stuff, but if I look at the printing, something is odd;
    it has
    "12.5mm Coin Cell" printed on it. Size isn't 12.5mm I suppose :)

  • I wonder how well the battery is held with this kinda holder. Does it slip out easily?

  • I think the silkscreen on the back is wrong??????

      Ha, nice catch, it sure is. We'll see about getting that fixed...

  • Damn, is it me or are some of these prices, like really high?

    • Well, at thousand-of prices, it probably costs them $1.5-2 to get the actual pcb from Gold Phoenix, plus markup.
