I will plan my future projects accordingly, and I am unlikely to buy the purple lights again; they're just not worth it given how dim they are.</p></p>

Kamiquasi on DEV-11325 - LilyPad LED Purple (5pcs)Kamiquasiurn:uuid:566ad354-1891-76b4-fd91-2e5bc9a84d622012-10-26T11:22:02-06:00<p>They're a bit less bright, but I wouldn't say that they're 'dim' by nature.<p>However, at 2.97V for the battery.. making the assumption that this is what would go to these boards, and then assuming that the LED is at the lower end of the datasheet's Vf spec - 2.8V - then the 100Ohm resistor on this board means the LED's only going to be seeing a few mA. I would definitely expect it to be very, very dim. I'd guess these are supposed to be used with ~5V on the line.</p></p>

YOU CAN HARDLY TELL THEY ARE WORKING. IS THIS THE WAY THE LILLY PAD IS
PROGRAMMED? THE BATTERY IS 2.97V.</p>
