The other comments are from at least 3 years ago, so the product could have changed in that time, but it's perfectly snug for me. Not too snug, not too loose. I'm not doing anything heavy duty with it, just wanted a small breadboard for RPi projects, but it's been great for me so far.

The holes aren't "snug", it takes Thor-like strength to get anything in or out of the board (assuming that it doesn't destroy what you're trying to plug in, of course).

Breaks wires, breaks your fingernails, bends your parts, takes 20 minutes to get a single part in sometimes. Go for the mini breadboards instead.

It's super stiff so you'll end up bending all your wires when you try to shove them in. The metal contacts inside also aren't springy, so if you plug in larger wires or pin headers, it permanently loosens the hole.
I've used breadboards similar to the "Breadboard Mini Self-Adhesive" and have had a good experience, so that's probably a better choice. (Unfortunately it doesn't have power rails like this one though)

Needle Nose Plier
to attach a simple 22-gauge wire into this breadboard.
I guess it's better than wires randomly coming loose but
the "Breadboard Mini Self-Adhesive" is MUCH BETTER than this one (from my experience)

Pros:
Great for small projects
Small
Cheap
Cons:
Breaks Wires
To small for a making a Arduino unit
Other Thoughts:
I should of waited for the for the Basic Breadboard to come in stock.
