ROHM Semiconductor LAPIS ML22Q6x 4-Channel Speech Synthesis LSIs (Large Scale Integration) are designed to easily add high-quality voice functionality to virtually any application. The ML22Q6x LSIs integrate 4MB to 32MB flash memory, ideal for long audio playback applications such as voice guidance. These devices are offered with either a clock synchronous serial interface (ML22Q62x) or I2C interface (ML22Q66x). The ML22Q6x LSIs also feature HQ-ADPCM compression technology, a 16-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC), and a low-pass filter for achieving high sound quality, along with an integrated 1.0W monaural speaker amp that enables direct speaker drive.

The ROHM Semiconductor ML22Q6x Speech Synthesis LSIs are offered in a TQFP32 package, with a wide -40°C to +70°C operating temperature range.
