The IR1 IR Thermometer is built to withstand a 2m (6.6ft) drop test and comes with a targeting laser, backlight, auto power-off, and data hold. The thermometer comes with a carrying pouch and a 9V battery.

Easy for students to use
Great with kids. The feature that encloses the switch between temperature scales is nice so students are forced to work in the classes scale of choice.
