Renesas Electronics RA6M4 32-bit ARM® Microcontrollers are built on a highly efficient 40nm process. These ARM microcontrollers are supported by an open and flexible ecosystem concept called Flexible Software Package (FSP). The FSP uses FreeRTOS as a base and can also be replaced and expanded. Features include 200MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 core with Trustzone, 1MB code flash memory, 256KB SRAM, BGO/SWAP function, and capacitive touch sensing unit. These MCUs are suitable for IoT applications requiring strong security, rich connectivity, and large embedded RAM with parity/ECC and low power consumption.

The RA6M4 ARM® microcontrollers are highly power efficient with 104μA/MHz in active mode and fast wakeup times from standby (30μs from MOCO). These MCUs also feature an integrated security crypto module with several cryptography accelerators, key management support, tamper detection, and power analysis resistance. Applications include general purpose, security, metering electricity, automated meter reading industry, door openers, sewing machines, vending machines, and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC).
