I apologize if this is a silly comment, but I am looking for a motion detector for an Arduino based build. Does anyone know if this can interface with the Atmega or another solution?

A stupid question it was indeed actually. My god. Just noticed the same sensor (without the board and Microcontroller) in the related products at the bottom of this page.

I have used the 2013 and i doubt it will work with that JTAG programmer.
You can buy the ez430-f2013 for $20. Be sure to get something to interface the connections as the header on the ez430 won't fit the above .

Will this JTAG programmer, http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=15 , work on this motion board given that the programmer doesn't support SBW? This will be my first step out from Arduino and I'm not keen to drop 70$+ on a programmer. I also would appreciate any advice on what I need to make this work, and whether or not it's reasonable for a newbie to learn it. Or if I'll desperately need SBW even for a simple application.
