I got 2, and 1 makes a weird noise when it does work, and I have to let it sit for about 5 minutes after powering it for 10 seconds or it will not work. Any help? Also: i was using a 9v battery</p>

It looks like Sparkfun just copied the product page from the 100:1 mini metal gearmotor and forgot to change the free-run speed specification (or maybe they accidentally swapped the 4 and the 1).</p>
