Especially when DFRobot sells them for $0.008 each, in a lot of 600. SparkFun could buy from them, sell them for less than they do now, still make a profit, and even carry them in six colors!

Old ISA and 386/486 motherboards were famous for being packed with jumpers. Whenever throwing one away, I’d always pull the jumpers off. I must have hundreds of them. Good thing too, there’s no way I’d ever pay 35 cents for one. Why are these not 2 cents a piece? It’s not just SparkFun. I placed an order with Jameco. A transistor is .05 cents, but a jumper is .12? Go figure.

I know, that’s strange…
They say .35 cents but they show a quarter, that’s only .25 cents!
