Contrary to what the datasheet says, this model is not ideal for homebrew Segways. For that application, you want a gyro that measures angular acceleration about one of the axes that one of your accelerometers also measures (in order to filter those two outputs).<br>
Note that this is buyer's remorse, and I should have inspected the datasheets (or photos) more closely before ordering. I'm just posting to make you aware of this.</p>

The datasheet for the ADXL203 chip also lists it as having a +/-1.7G range. I wonder which it is...</p>
