Did you know you have a practically unlimited source of energy, half a day, fully available to power your project? This PowerFilm Solar Panel is a lightweight, paper thin, and flexible power solution that can be easily integrated with your electronics to provide you with solar recharging or direct powering methods! Even while bending and manipulating this solar panel, you will still be able to pull your full allotment of power from it.
This specific panel is capable of 10.5mA at 7.2V which equates to about 0.07W of power. To incorporate this small solar panel into your project simply melt the plastic protecting the two power rails on the opposite sides of the array with your iron, then simply solder on your desired cables, leads, or another connection medium.
Please be aware that this solar panel does not have a UV-stabilized surface, but are suitable for intermittent outdoor use.
This skill defines how difficult the soldering is on a particular product. It might be a couple simple solder joints, or require special reflow tools.
Skill Level: Rookie - The number of pins increases, and you will have to determine polarity of components and some of the components might be a bit trickier or close together. You might need solder wick or flux.

If it requires power, you need to know how much, what all the pins do, and how to hook it up. You may need to reference datasheets, schematics, and know the ins and outs of electronics.
Skill Level: Competent - You will be required to reference a datasheet or schematic to know how to use a component. Your knowledge of a datasheet will only require basic features like power requirements, pinouts, or communications type. Also, you may need a power supply that?s greater than 12V or more than 1A worth of current.

Based on 1 ratings:
This is an amazing product and I want to buy more. Forget flexability, the solar panel works well. Other solar panels don't provide enough power to do anything. This is smaller than those and can actually run (small) things.
The flexibility is a nice bonus in my opinion.
The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is because it can be hard to take off some of the plastic and solder connections.
