Polarized Connectors - Header (5-Pin)

Polarized connectors and headers for your perf board/PCB projects. Use these connectors for power connections or any sensor/general connection to prevent users from connecting the peripheral incorrectly or reversed.

This is for the male header. Be sure to order the housing and crimp pins!

Pins have standard 0.1" spacing.

This skill defines how difficult the soldering is on a particular product. It might be a couple simple solder joints, or require special reflow tools.

Skill Level: Rookie - The number of pins increases, and you will have to determine polarity of components and some of the components might be a bit trickier or close together. You might need solder wick or flux.

    It would be very useful to have a right angle version of this polarized header for use with the joystick breakout pcb. It has 5 pins but the straight header interferes with the motion and click of the joystick. An example of what I need is here: http://www.futurlec.com/Connectors/POLHDRR5.shtml
