Qik Dual Serial Motor Controller - High Power

Replacement:DEV-10182. We are now building our own version of this board. This page is for reference only.

This powerful motor controller allows variable speed and direction control of two large, brushed DC motors using a simple serial interface and provides several advanced features, such as motor acceleration control and configurable current limiting. Automatic baud detection up to 115.2 kbps and inputs for both RS-232 and TTL serial make it easy to add motors to your microcontroller- or computer-based project.

  • VNH3SP30 motor driver
  • 6VDC-16VDC operating voltage
  • TTL and RS232 interfaces
  • Auto baud 1200 - 115,200 bps
  • 13A continuous output current per channel
  • 30A peak output current per channel
  • Maximum PWM frequency of 19.7kHz
  • Reverse voltage protection
  • 1.86" x 2.15" x 0.28", 14grams

This board is based on the VNH2SP30 motor driver, not the VNH3SP30 as specified in the product description. The VNH2SP30 lets the controller operate at ultrasonic PWM frequencies and provices current feedback (neither of which is supported by the VNH3SP30).
