This is a torch tip for our butane soldering irons. Equipping your butane soldering iron with one of these will turn it into a soldering torch, allow you to apply heat at a temperature of up to 2400?F. It's a completely cordless, and could be useful for in-field repair.

You shouldn't really need much of an excuse to use a torch, but circuit repair and heat shrinking might be a few applications.
