  • I was wondering if someone could give me some help with the datasheet - specifically page 3 with their EAW <-> decimal conversion system. Is this a random (can't be that) way to convert to decimal? It doesn't seem to be a simple binary to decimal conversion, which suprised me. If I am reading the pins to get the position, do I need to use a lookup table? Thanks for any help, and my apologies if I overlooked something obvious.

  • Thanks for looking into the backorder Problem. I really really wanted some boards that were out. I hope we get a Chance to order them. Either way, Sparkfun has ALWAYS proven to be a consumer conscious comapany, and I thank you all for that. It is why I shall always recommend you guys to others without second thought.

  • When I started reading this article, I couldn't help but think about trolling and writing a comment like, "Hey can you post an arduino pinout and sample code?" Imagine my surprise when I later found out that will most likely be in the followup.

  • I have a few of these, and see now that they have been replaced by a newer product. Should I be concerned with using them in a project, as the new one says something to the effect of, the old model had problems. I don't want to fry anyhting.

  • I'm not entirely sure if these are able to be ordered, but is there any chance you could carry XT60 connectors? They work so well, and are so easy to solder. Please excuse me if this isn't the correct place to post this. Feel free to move it (or erase it) if that is the case.

  • I'm almost ashamed to ask but, are you going to offer a simple arduino example for this device?

  • This isn't asked to be jerky; do you know if these are these shipping with the A4988 or the A4983?

  • Hi Nate. When I said I wanted credit I was thinking of an honorable mention in the credits, and actually just joking. I was so surprised to see the email from your company, and it really was such a nice gesture on your part to do that. Sparkfun really does stand out from all the other hobby-electronic companies on the web because there truely is a feeling of being genuinely appreciated by the company and its workers. I've been purchasing stuff from Sparkfun for many years, and have had only the best of experiences. On those rare occasions where something didn't work as it should, I have been able to get prompt, polite, and meaningful support - even hassle free exchanges. I want to say Sparkfun has that extra something that the others don't, and that is why I just love doing business with you folks. Keep up the good work!

  • Oh can I have credit for pointing you guys to this device? I sent you an email a little over a year ago asking if you would carry it and got a reply that you would look into it. Great to see it here.

  • You know, I think the fact that the 7-segment display pulls 20 amps and is 105dB loud makes it the coolest thing I've seen yet.

No public wish lists :(
