They could go through a process to get a Colorado judge to issue a subpoena but they didn’t because SparkFun gave up the fight without forcing them to do so. There are also other numerous grounds for fighting this subpoena but, again, SparkFun didn’t really fight those issues either. A good lawyer would have fought this subpoena if his client was willing to pay to fight it but obviously SparkFun chose to save money and give in. Either way, a Georgia court, by itself, has zero authority in Colorado. At a minimum, they should have forced Georgia to get a proper Colorado subpoena.

I appreciate you protecting our information but realize that since you are located in Colorado you are not subject to the jurisdiction of the Georgia Court so they can’t force you to give them information anyway.

I have never played angry birds but I love this awesome project. Please keep projects like this coming. It is very inspirational to see such ingenuity and creativity at work. Amazing.

Really?!? A plaid hat and hoodie on our annual Viking Scientist Day? Does that guy have any pride in himself at all?

Why isn’t this functionality built into the Arduino boards already? All these shields are great for prototyping but if you want to build something really small with even basic functionality forget about it. Unless you can design and build your own surface mount boards (which most of us tinkerers can’t do) you are stuck with giant projects. The functions of this board really ought to be standard on even the smallest Arduinos.

It is too bad no quads. They seem to be the best possible vehicle for this competition. The short distance and precise movement involved screams for quads. Airplanes would certainly be better if long distances were involved but that is not the case here. Wouldn’t the quads be safe if they had protection over the blades? Maybe some type of ducted fan setup would be safe?

Free day sucks. I couldn’t get in at all and even my comments are having trouble posting. This is really a bad way to treat customers if you ask me.

Free day sucks. After clicking the quiz I waited for hours and it never came up. I didn’t even get to the first question. This is a bad way to treat customers if you ask me.
