  • Wonderful ! Will all the new product posts have the YouTube Video Attached ? :D That would be nice.

  • What kind of posts do SparkFun fans love:
    1. The best thing on this section is when you post New Products combined whit a project that they are used for…
    2. It’s nice when you just post New Products. We are happy to see them too.
    3. We also love when you post detailed SparkFun projects or tutorials.
    4. It’s not so bad if you post projects that are well documented or have a lot of pictures and example videos…
    5. We don’t like long posts that really don’t contain something useful.
Well… That was the TOP 5 of things that we like and don’t like…. :)

  • somehow I agree whit you :)
a micro-controller is a base chip that has all major components integrated (flash, ram, cpu, etc.)
a microprocessor is a chip that is just the CPU and requires components like the flash, ram that aren’t included in the chip itself :D
thats what I think… not sure if this is true but I kinda think thats the difference :D

  • it has the same name as me :D

  • don’t do DRUGS :D

  • Does is in default work as a Serial Device because I don’t need that feature for now ?

  • why the AVR MCU and not a simple FTDI USB-to-Serial chip ?

  • I definitely needed to reply to this :) I am 14 years old and I’m not sure about what will I continue to study when I finish High-School… I was thinking about Mechatronics but I don’t know what does it all include. I like programming MCUs like AVRs, controlling servo, magnetic actuators, pneumatics and hydraulics :D
I heard about Mechatronics a couple years ago and couldn’t precisely find what do you learn there… If I decide that it will be Mechatronics, I will go to a Mechatronics school in Stuttgart, Germany.
    Best Regards,
    Adel :D
