  • These are really neat little LED’s. Very bright and can be powered briefly by a small 3.7volt lithium cell. They must be soldered to a surface that will sink heat quickly like a PC board with fairly heavy cladding if using them this way or they will melt the solder holding them down. A proper LED driver should be used or a resistor at minimum to keep the current below 400mA or heat willl be a problem. A cluster of these will eat up some excess current and 3 or 4 produce quite a bit of bright white light. Dazzling really. Defiletely the smallest high powered LED. For the price there’s nothing I’ve seen especially in such a small package that outputs as much light until you get to the 3 watt class.
