The article hooked me with:
How many times have you asked yourself, "Self? How can I measure ... , AND ... trigger interrupts so I don't have to constantly poll over I2C?"
Then the article utilizes the qwiic connector... which necessitates polling because there isn't an interrupt line on the connector.
I've been using an IC hookup wire attached to my interrupt pin (in addition to the qwiic connector for another sparkfun sensor breakout), but qwiic would be so much better with a common interrupt pin. Call it qwiici :)
Of course it requires a dedicated gpio... or some way of jumping the signal to an arbitrary gpio on the devboard.
