  • I don't want to come across as an obnoxious pedant, but...the specs for this cable look to be somewhat off.

    According to the data sheet, it only has the USB 2.0 pins wired, so it doesn't support 10Gbps, only 480 Mbps.

    It's not electronically marked, so it doesn't support 100W / 5A, only 60W / 3A.

    USB C charging is quite a lot more than 64% faster than MicroUSB charging. Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0's maximum power is 36W, 12V @ 3A, which is about 1/3 of USB C. Very few devices support that and it's non-standard, so on average USB C is a lot more than 3x faster.

    Also, USB C is ridiculously complex and convoluted and you should assume that anybody talking about it is seriously confused / misunderstanding some significant part of the standard; this often includes the people who are building devices that use it and definitely includes me.
