  • Tutorial - Using an Arduino to Program an AVR | about a year ago

    Thanks for the guide, but I cannot get it to work. I get ” avrdude: Device signature = 0x1e9406 avrdude: Expected signature for ATmega324PA is 1E 95 11 Double check chip, or use -F to override this check. ” no matter what I do… Looks like avrdude picks up the arduino’s AVR (168) instead of the one I want to program (324pa)… Any ideas??

    Disabling auto reset on my Diecimila results in “avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding”.
