  • Hi everyone, I’m trying to use one of these as part of my final year project at uni but I’m having some serious trouble getting it to behave properly. When I try to read the heading, the first byte only varies between 0 and D and the second byte is always FF. These values do not change in any meaningful way when I rotate the device to face in different directions.
    As far as I can tell, I’m following the spec. sheet but so far, no joy. My signal sequence is:
    Start, Address (42), Command (41), Stop, wait 6000us, Start, Address (43), read byte 1, read byte 2, Stop
    Can anyone tell if I’m doing anything particularly stupid?
