  • I just got a proto cape and have added stackable headers. I plug it into my BeagleBone Black, running the 2014-11-11 image of Debian and run i2cdetect I get:

    UU's are showing up where I expect the cape EEPROM to be. But the UU's show up even if the cape isn't attached.

    What should I do?

  • Nice tutorial. Very easy to follow.

    I found a misdirected link. In the "Installing the Bigger Image" section, the link "download the bigger image" points to a firware update, not the new Linux image.

  • Oh, and here's what I had to do to get it working:

    apt-get update
    apt-get install python-pip
    apt-get install python-dev
    pip install twython
    pip install Adafruit_BBIO
