  • The short answer is yes. The long answer is, you'd need to write a computer program to receive controller packets and help you reverse engineer the packet structure. That's the hard part. Once you've done that, it will be relatively easy to write a program to parse those packets on the Arduino.

  • I was disappointed to find, upon plugging this board in and printing out values, that the gyro measures angular acceleration around the Z axis. Contrary to what the datasheet says, this model is not ideal for homebrew Segways. For that application, you want a gyro that measures angular acceleration about one of the axes that one of your accelerometers also measures (in order to filter those two outputs).
    Note that this is buyer's remorse, and I should have inspected the datasheets (or photos) more closely before ordering. I'm just posting to make you aware of this.
