  • Tutorial - MP3 Player Shield Quickstart Guide | about 2 years ago

Thank you madsci1016 for the tip about pin 9 and your handy dandy library.

This MP3 Player Shield will work with new Arduino UNO-R3 Replacement: DEV-11021
I’ve made a control system for this MP3 Player using a 2.8" TFT Color LCD,touch screen shield. I use two UNO’s to control the MP3 via “SPI”. The touch screen shield uses all but 3 pins (A3 - A5) so I had to use a second Arduino for the MP3 Player This MP3 Player shield “ROCKS” All functions can be controlled like Volume, Base, Treble, FF, REV, etc.
I get feed back from the MP3 that I can display on the touch screen. Great example sketches with the MP3. Just modify examples to make it do what you want it to do. I used the “wire” library for the “SPI” connection. I will post the code at a later time. Till then, Keep Inventing! Snoopy
